Crush Ends 2007 -- 2008 With A Tournament Championship at Virginia Tech
The YSA Crush finished a successful 2007--2008 season in style with a tournament
championship at the FNB / VT Summer Kickoff tournament.  The team played well all
weekend and did what it took to secure the 2008 tournament after finishing as finalist in
2007.  The Crush have had many accomplishments this year including winning the Concord
Fall Classic, the McDonald's Invitational, being finalist at the Advance Auto Invitation, and
know capturing this championship.  Of all of these though, none compare to the regular
season the Crush had in NCYSA play as they secured a 1st division spot for the 2008--2009
season.  Congratulations guys, we will see you at tryouts on May 22nd and 27th.
The YSA Crush finished off their 2009 season by winning the Wrangler Jeans / McDonald's
Soccer Tournament held May 23rd and 24th.  The Crush, a U16 1st Division Classic Team
played in the U17 Division in the tournament and composed an impressive 4-0 record to
bring home the Championship.  The Crush got outstanding play all weekend by their defense
while their offense provided just enough scoring to secure each victory.  The Crush will have
their annual tryouts this coming week on May 26th and 28th.  We hope to see each one of
these players return to build on what they have accomplished this year.  Congratulations
guys, you truly deserved this championship.  A special thanks goes out to

Yadkin Crush Finishes Off 2009 Season With Style

Congratulations 92 Yadkin Crush!!  2009 Norcross Nike Cup Finalist.  The
YSA Crush played against some of the best teams from all over the southeast during
the weekend of Dec. 5th and 6th and compiled a 3-1 record while posting 3 shutouts.  
The Crush held their opposition scoreless for 278 out on 280 minutes played in route
to being a finalist.  This is a warm-up tournament for the Crush, which will only had 2
practices before the tournament began and will not start league play until February.
The Crush showed the Beast Of The East
tournament some of the Best Of The West by
winning the 17 mens division on the weekend of
May 15th.  The Crush had a perfect 4-0 record
and only allowed 1 goal the entire tournament.  
The Crush have also advanced to the Final
Four of the Kepner Cup which is the be played
on the weekend of May 22nd.  Congratulations
